• MORE INFO.

Why hello there, all.   My alias is Aly.  Oddly enough, I respond better to my alias better than my own name, but that's beside the point.
I am American, but I do my best not to follow the stereotype of Americans.   All in all, I have a fairly unusual personality type.  I'm very headstrong, but I'm also very introverted.    I am absolutely a word freak.  If I see someone use a word wrong I itch to correct them.    I have a tendency to be very loud when I'm excited, (or use a lot of caps, either way rolls for me).  I use a lot of English and Southern slang.  I have lived in the Southern US all my life.   I have begun to develop a little bit of an accent, which scares me.       I have been a vegetarian for about 4 years, as of 2007.    I also am in the practice of various forms of the Martial Arts.  I've only been taking MA for about a year, though.   I highly enjoy using weapons.
For one semester of school thus far, I have taken an online class in Macromedia Flash.  I plan on finishing up the Macromedia classes so I can earn a degree in Web Designing.     I speak a little Latin, better German, and a tiny bit of French.
My dream profession is to become either a journalist (to work for the NY times!) or to write for the news.

I've been doing web design for about 5 years (as of 2007).   However, I was never a very good coder until about 2005 or 2006.    My design concept was very good, but being able to execute my thoughts was very nearly impossible for me.   I positively worshiped the IFrame.   I sill think the IFrame is an useful tool, but I've learned to appreciate tables and regular frames.

• IN CLOSING

Well, that's me basically.   I'm pretty strange, as you can probably tell.
You deserve a cookie if you read all this.  I don't blame you if you say "TL;DR"
Remember, if you ever need to get in contact with me, don't hesitate to email me.
Tschuess!
